Welcome

Contest - What is terrorism? On November 28th 2007 the three anti-militarists Florian, Axel, and Oliver were "spared" on bail from investigative detention. Before, they had been in jail in Berlin-Moabit for almost four months, because of an supposed arson on miltary vehicles on Juli 31st. The same day these three were arrested, Andrej was also detained and the homes and work places of three other persons were searched. The accusation against all seven was: "Membership in a terrorist organization" (§129a of the German criminal code) called "militant group". On August 22nd, Andrej was relieved from custody, in October the arrest warrant against him was overturned. The arrest warrents against Axel, Oliver, and Florian still remain. Simultaneously to its decision on the relief from prison, the German Federal Court (BGH) judged that the "militant group" is not to be considered a "terrorist organization" (§129a). Now the investigations have been turned over to §129 ("criminal organization"). The legal constructs on which these accusations rest are adventurous and must be decisively rejected. This site, maintained by a broad group of supporters is intended to contribute to this. We demand the cessation of the proceedings, and the repeal of §§129, 129a, and 129b of the german criminal code. >> more

Declarations

End the criminalisation of left-wing structures -- for the immediate cessation of the 129(a) investigations!

In the last year four terrorism investigations of left-wing activists have been uncovered, which has led to wide spread criticism of the practices of the investigation authorities. Away from the eyes of the public the investigations in all four cases are still ongoing and with them the surveillance operations of over 40 people.

Video: Einstellung!

Freundeskreis Videoclips produced a 7 min clip on the case, German with English subtitles:

Florian L., Axel H. und Oliver R. were arrested after they allegedly tried to set fire on military trucks, made by MAN-AG in Brandenburg/Havel. The same day, Andrej Holm was arrested and flats and places of employment of three others were searched. The constructions that are intended to justify the accusation „Membership of a terrorist organization according to §§129a StGB (‚militant group (mg)‘).” are as adventurous as the paragraph 129a itself.

Arrest warrant against Andrej H. overturned. Lawyers demand an end to the §129a proceedings

Yesterday the German Federal Court announced its decision in the case of Berlin-based Andrej H. The Court has decided that at no point there was any immediate suspicion that would have necessitated his detainment. The arrest warrant against the activist and researcher was unlawful from the beginning and has thus been overturned.
